EU specialist Lotta Nymann-Lindegren (M.Soc.Sc.) will start as Senior advisor at Miltton Brussels, which is a subsidiary of Miltton Group. She will be stationed in Copenhagen. Miltton Brussels offers comprehensive chain of services specialising in EU monitoring, decision-making and public affairs consulting to serve Nordic and Finnish companies’ interests at all levels of the decision-making process. Her appointment will further deepen Miltton’s expertise in EU advising and strengthen the Nordic public affairs service offering.
Nymann-Lindegren joins Miltton from the Permanent Representation of Finland to the European Union, where she worked as a counsellor overlooking issues regarding the Brexit negotiations and EU institutions. In addition, she has a strong background in the administration of foreign affairs, where she has worked especially with questions regarding EU and foreign policy. She has also worked at the EU secretariat at the Prime Minister’s Office in Helsinki and she has completed foreign assignments in Berlin, Copenhagen, and Brussels.
“Lotta is one of leading EU experts, and I’m thrilled that she is joining us as her expertise will further reinforce our expertise. The operational environment of EU is under constant change and reshaping and Lotta’s strong background and insight in understanding and analysing these changes will be of great value to Nordic companies”, says Jan Store, the CEO of Miltton Brussels.
Nymann-Lindegren will be stationed in Copenhagen, where she will cooperate with Holm Kommunikation, Miltton’s long-standing partner in Denmark. Miltton’s public affairs experts form a solid network of specialists in Helsinki, Brussels, Stockholm and Tallinn and Washington.
“I’m excited to be part of Miltton’s growth story. The call for Nordic collaboration and efficient influencing is on the rise as Nordic companies are awakening to the rate of change in the EU and to the consequences resulting from this change. Britain’s prospective withdrawal from the EU will also affect Northern Europe in many ways, and it is important to prepare for that well in advance. The spring of 2019 is just around the corner and there are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding financial markets, customs regulations, and EU citizens working in Britain”, says Nymann-Lindegren.
