Mikael Frisk strengthens Miltton Sparks as its new chairman of the board

Mikael Frisk has been appointed chairman of Miltton Sparks. He has 25 years of international experience in working with human resources at big league companies such as Fortum and Nokia. He will help to further Miltton Sparks’ leadership development offering. He will also become a partner.

Communications agency Miltton constantly develops its integrated service offering. To reinforce this offering, Miltton Sparks was founded in 2016 to focus specifically on the strategic challenges of client companies and to help organizations with leadership development. The company offers consulting, trainings and specialized tools for company management, teams and employees.

“Combining leadership development and strong communications is a powerful way to drive change. Working closely with management, I have seen many times how important it is to get the board and the management to communicate the strategy in an innovative, reliable and efficient way,” says Frisk.

Frisk has been working with change management his entire career. For 15 years he was part of Fortum’s board and involved in planning and implementing Fortum’s expansion to Sweden and Russia. In addition, he initiated the successful leadership development project in Fortum that transformed the entire company’s culture.

“It is very fascinating to see how organizations are shaped by today’s massive change pressures and how big changes are required from the leadership. During Miltton Sparks’ first months it has become very clear that there is a dire need for services that help organizations to be more agile and efficient, and allow them to focus on people. We want to be on top of the management development business and we are extremely happy to welcome Mikael Frisk,” says Christina Dahlblom, CEO of Miltton Sparks.

Miltton Group has grown its product offering to cover communications, marketing and investor relations. Miltton focuses on supporting the growth of Finnish and Nordic businesses by combining strong societal understanding with creativity.
