In 2014, Rauma Marine Constructions started their business from scratch and with empty order books. Fast forward to the year 2017, and the shipbuilding company signed a billion-euro Letter of Intent with the Finnish Defense Forces.
The strategy as a whole started to come together from the metaphor: a large vessel commanded from a bridge, with integrated public affairs, customer and PR activities. The message was clear and urgent; the city of Rauma had been reinvigorated.
The work included a memorable and creative execution. The art work Brykä, (the Bridge) which was commissioned for the SuomiAreena event in Pori in 2016, was a visual reminder of Finnish shipbuilding know-how, as well as a way of sparking public discussion.
